Look under a criminal investigation the FBI can not just go and release information any way, Hillary as a former defence attorney knows this.

Remove both of them from the ballot, keep Obama as interim President for another year, and hold another round of primaries.

Because an investigation was already opened, under the evidence provided no charges were brought, although many argue they should have been, new evidence came to light that shows the people investigated had not been entirely forthcoming. Due to this being a current case the announcement was made. Apparently the emails made an appearance on this laptop due to a backup that was performed, something that can and does happen. If it makes you feel any better I still think she will win and no I do not like either candidate.

This could well happen. And to be honest it could be the best thing. Why couldn't we make a better choice?

And therein lies the problem the AG has not been working in an appropriate manner during this whole process. Meeting Bill was a foolish thing to do. I mean who flies in there planes to meet on the tarmac and discuss their grandkids?

Not necessarily the FBI can still call a grand jury, they don't actually have to have the AG's approval, that's a big misconception. Comey will not be stopped by Lynch if he feels there is an injustice here.

The director of the FBI is a 10yr position, he has far more to lose than Lynch, internal wrangling's may have pushed this over the edge with many senior FBI agents angry that no prosecution was brought. Lynch will be finished soon as her term will be up.

Does that not look really bad on the FBI then in a few months time....they have to go to the American people and say, "You know that women who we didn't prosecute, and who ran for President and won your vote?...Yeah well we were secretly investigating her again before the election, and we've found some bad stuff. Sorry about that"....

And also, if they kept it quiet from the public now, and Hillary won, how far do you think that investigation would go then?....atleast now, Hillary will still win, but the public knows about it so the investigation can't just be buried.

So maybe I could have explained it better, if the evidence shows there is no doubt this is a serious crime and the AG refuses they can exert tremendous pressure on the President, the last thing he will want is insurmountable evidence put before him. A president leaving office wants a lasting legacy, he in turn would force the justice dept to comply.

Would the President stand by Clinton with massive amounts of evidence? I doubt it. Take another year.

Pretty much unemployable in any other sector, sheeet, even if I was only a newsagent I wouldn't expect a satisfactory outcome as either trundled off bleary eyed with a sack of newspapers.
