So it seems like he's a good choice for games like today's, where he'd be up against the CBs and giving them problems, but definitely not the choice for teams like Fulham where the defence and midfield are tighter and sit deeper. Those games he's utterly ineffective in and we need a different option.

Going all Fellaini today with his superb chest control.

You can see the improvement in his gsme so much over the last few weeks but as pointed out by many others, he needs to start scoring.

Today the fact that 2 CB's had to worry about him left space for Gylfi in behind. He didnt get much to work with in the box either so he was the perfect forward for that game. But there are games when we will need a clinical finisher.

Arguably against teams that sit deep you don’t even need a striker. You need someone more clever outside the box.

There is no reason he can't be effective against sit deep sides.... the fact that no player was good against Fulham makes it tough for him to do anything.

....nothing fell for him today with regard to having a chance. A couple of times teammates failed to put him in, but he was competitive and it’s not too bad if you still win 4-0 when your striker doesn’t score.

He’s terrific and will be a real asset for us but we do need a top drawer striker.
