Dominic Calvert-Lewin watch

I regret his final injury of last season as I’d liked to have seen what, if anything might have changed under Moyes. 4 in 4 is boss, but 2 of them have been tap-ins from a yard after massive defensive clangers haven’t they?!

Our strikers have been crap but so has he until recently. If he carries on scoring at a decent rate then fair play to the guy, and history will almost certainly be compelled to say we should have fought harder to keep him, but as it is I still feel like everyone is arguing the toss in here about who the tallest dwarf is.

They still count mate, I’d love for either of our strikers to score tap ins, you need to be in the right place or you don’t score them.

Oh absolutely, a goal is a goal. Just not every goal is an indicator of good form (Barry’s one came in probably his worst game in the last few!).

Baz has missed some shockers but if 2 drop to him on the line and he’s allowed a pen, then all of a sudden he’s up to 4 and all. But I also get if my auntie had spuds she’s my uncle, and all that.

I've seen the last few Leeds games as they always seem to be on tv. The difference with DCL is that most of the time they play the ball up to him and he will retain possession, or win a throw in, free kick and get them up the pitch. Our strikers don't do that.

I always liked DCL but I don't believe he'd score many goals in this Everton system now either. Leeds get the ball in the box to him, and they get numbers in the box. Everton seem to play a lot of neat and tidy football outside the box and I don't think we create that many chances for the striker.

DCL on the money he wanted was a risk we just couldn't take given his poor form and previous injury record. It was also one of those times where things come to a natural end for both club and player. I don't think he would be doing as well as he is at Leeds as he is here. It was best for us both to move on.

For Leeds it was worth the gamble in terms of the finances.
