Dominic Calvert-Lewin watch

Well the everton of those seasons certainly didnt. Still can’t believe we were never relegated. If you look at many of those players now, only Iwobi has any sort of career. Harrison who was a regular for us can’t get into the Leeds first team and they want rid.
Lindstrom - loaned to Wolfsburg, 2 appearances this season. Has an option to make perm. Napoli going to get par boiled on their 30m euro cost.
Broja get a move to burnley somehow.
Harrison still at leeds.
Mangala has got over his acl, and is trying back to fitness at Lyon.
We made the Alcaraz loan permanent.

Hes on a good run and good luck to him, to me he was infuriating to watch at times when he was here especially one v one chances, it felt more like a nice surprise he would take them rather than squander them .

The club not adequately replacing Lukaku has been a big problem as well.

In my opinion Hes the kind of player who doesn’t take you to the top level we all want us to get to. We have had too many of those over the years and the claims he is much better than what we have says a lot about where we are as a club and the recruitment process.
Can't argue with this.
I've no ill feeling towards him but he just wasn't good enough for us.
Just because he's better than Barry and Betto doesn't make him what we needed.
We let him go and replaced him with worse. That's poor recruitment.
Let's not kid ourselves he some kind of lethal striker, he average at best.

Beautiful goal, ball barely leaves the deck.

Maybe we could try something like this, a little more adventurous rather than our usual concussion inducing crap.

@GrandOldTeam is going on here about what a massive mistake we made not giving in to his demands.
I can't recall his exact post but I think he said an offer of 20k more would've kept him. We don't know if the club played hard ball and didn't even offer a pay rise on peak contract so we are only guessing, but it was a mistake letting him go without some compromise if that happened.
He's better than our current two though Barry has room for improvement.

I'm glad he's doing well but it was the right decision to leave.

Villa game was a turning point and he needed a change. It happens.

But there's a % of our supporters who seem to enjoy hounding players out of the club.
I don't blame him for leaving. Thought he was treated very poorly by a certain section of the fanbase

You don't understand people getting upset that our number 9 scored only 16 goals over 4 seasons?
Lot of injuries in there, rushed back twice and played through injury too did not help.

The one thing I credit Dyche for was not rushing him back and essentially giving him that time. Problem was he gave him a style that allowed one shot every two games which bothers me far more than his tally. All strikers are rubbish that get few chances because all strikers miss far more than they score
