We've had a great start but lack of depth in squad will destroy us going forward this season.

Just thinking about our start to the season, have we used up all our luck in the opening fixtures and are we at the start of the decline?

Spurs we caught off guard when they looked sluggish.

We were looking poor and like we'd be in trouble against West Brom and were helped by the sending off.

Very lucky to get a pen against Palace and lucky to escape with a point against Liverpool.

We could easily be sat on 3-5 points and it feels like the result today was coming when we're now on a run of games that we should be picking up decent points on.

I guess time will tell but it just felt a bit predictable today.

We have been as inconsistent as all the other teams around us and all those teams have also had luck with regard to winning/drawing matches and we have had DCL in form as well as Richarlison and Coleman in all of those matches. With these two now out along with Digne, we will struggle because Carlo insists on picking Iwobi and Iceland and to a lesser extent Pickford. Against Newcastle all three should drop to the bench, and if Digne red card is overturned, start Gordon, Niels and Olsen. Just my opinion!

We finished 13th last season and added three players. Are we currently title contenders? No.
So yes it does, but it’s a crazy season and as seen anyone can beat anyone.

so who knows where we’ll end up. The reality is we’re paper thin and could be losing Digne for 3 games, got no Richarlison for 2 games and who knows if James will play next week.

Take away any teams top 3 creative players and they’ll struggle.

Hopefully it was a blip yesterday. A lot of our passes went astray or just didn't find their man. The ball went their way all the time and they closed our players down well. We were terrible first half. When Bernard and Gordon came on we were playing better and passing better. Once digne went off we just accepted defeat and went through the motions. Worrying lack of pace anywhere in the team yesterday
We will finish top 10.

We aren't going to finish in 1st place that's for sure, and it was inevitable we would lose at some point. We won't get a more realistic perspective on the potential of this team until we've played 20 games or so.
