He has threatened in most games he has played to stick a corker in, so it was intensley satisfying to see him cream-cheese that one in on saturday to send the crowd crackers.
Now he has his eye in, hopefully a few more collosal strikes are on the menu. (I don't reckon he got every penny on his strike on saturday, so when he really gets hold of one i'm expecting the need for a new net)

my song for him

diniyar!--he came from afar
diniyar!--all the way from rush-ar
diniyar!--we can't sing you a song
diniyar!--cos your name is too long

sung to the tune that's in my mind

A lot near me are happy to get on his back straight away, as with Fellaini the lad will need some time and will come good, young lad long way from home needing a little bit of love.
Young Reidy has his name on his shirt which is an honour that isn't bestowed very often, he signed it the other week and wished him a happy birthday, so I'm holding out for him. I don't see that he's done that much wrong, he maybe needs to learn that if you give the ball away we expect you to do your best to get it back, if you fail then it's not too bad as long as you try.

If you need a hug Bily, then I'm down near the church with the horn.

Potentially our most skillful player. He's going to be special. Him, Pienaar and Donovan interchanging positions yesterday reminded me of when I used to watch Harvey, Ball and Kendall from the astral plain.

I think he's still getting accustomed to the pace of the game over here. Thought he showed a few good little touches yesterday, some of the passes that looked like he gave the ball away cheaply were, I think attempts at some over-clever stuff.

With a season under his belt, a bit of a summer break, a decent pre-season, improved communication, people on his wavelength, next season I think he could turn out to be an excellent acquisition.

Agree with all of that. I'm sure he'll develop into a terrific player for us. The talent is undoubtedly there.
