Jags..class

Player Valuation: £70m
This is not a thread to trash Moyes, Moyes looks like he had aged 10 years, he was talking to himself tonight and looks lost and stressed out. Never seen him like that at Goodsion. Even when we got beat by Wigan 3 nil, Moyes didnt look worried at all. We must have made it so easy for him, deffo the best fans in the league.

-only the couple of times that he (and Neville) completely lost it and divided our fan base for us.

Nah, when your in charge of a skint club finishing 6th is not something that would justify him getting sacked.
Finishing 6th with United however.. may well.
That's why he's looking p**sed.
For us he did well, for United he isn't.

Its not about the fans, its about the chairman and Moyes was doing a cracking job of papering over the missing walls.

Because he knew he already had the United job and wasn't arsed. He'd met Fergie at Christmas and had been told then that he was the 'Chosen One'. Fergie confirmed this in writing in his book. Moyes for some reason continues to say something different to this day.

He doesn't seem ready for the pressure at Man u cos he had it so easy with us, so that made his job very difficult.

As patient with him as we were, especially the later years, he couldn't take any criticism, positive or otherwise, a key failing that'll be coming home to roost. If he had pushed on with us for the last four years he would have also developed himself, more fool him.

Despite the pulling power of Manchester United, Moyes has lost two very important things that he had at Everton:

1. A chairman who stood by him through thick and thin.
2. The support of the best fans in the world.

These missing intangibles should not be underestimated when his Old Trafford epitaph is written.

Yep, we wanted him to grow with us, become more attacking, someone of us hinted he should have got a number 2 in who was very attacking minded to help him, instead he chose Round.

The head shake from Bobby Charlton here tonight says it all:

Good Lord, just got in and saw they'd lost AGAIN. To Sland. Incredible.

This slump isn't purely due to tactics. The players are letting him down hideously here.

I actually think we demanded a lot, but were understanding about the financial position.

Now he has an embarrassment of riches and a squad of champions, inherited from the greatest manager of all time at one of the biggest few clubs in the world, there is nowhere to hide when things go wrong. Must be a really quite horrible position to be in given that he had a lot to prove when he took the job.
