Nothing but bad memories really.

AJ game a highlight, and arteta's second goal few years back. Apart from that the games I hate most every season is against that lot.

Lots of Liverpool gbh attacks

Good ones:
i) My first; 63-64, Away 4-0 or 4-1

ii) Alan Ball 66-67 magic, did them on his own ( nearly )

iii) Alan Ball cuptie

iv) My last; Joe Royles first.

The Ugly:

i) Late 60's New Years eve Away, 0-0, it was a pre dogs of war dogs of war. Me and Tommy Owens in the middle of the kop with our Blue scarves on.

At the end walking out, a big space opened around us, some 'wag' said ...Go ed den, wave yer scarf now...

Mimed giving it really serious though...replied, Nah, you're all right, strolled on in an insouciant manner ( while bricking it )

They just opened up, ( an early example of Jedi mind trick on the weak minded ) and let us through...bottlers.

r
The We were robbed / how did we lose / draw that while playing them off the park... numerous

Those 2@s have sold their souls to himself the bustards.... pretty much, with the odd exception all since the 71 semi.

rs; you always get exactly what it says on the tin

The players chasing down Gosling and piling on him after he scored was just such an immense moment. would love another of those.
I beg Martinez- play Naismith. You just know he's gonna be the scourge of the redshyte- the same way hardworkingbutaverage Kuyt was against us recently. Naisy is ready for another goal against them.

interesting perspective about Naisy

OK - I'm not going to recount all the bad memories as you no doubt know them all. I'll just reel off the wins:

Home
1-0 1971 - Davy Johnson
1978 - Andy King 1-0
1981 - 2-1 Eastoe and Varadi (the pie eater)
1985 - 1-0 to Everton (Reserves) - Wilko
1988 - 1-0 Wayne Clarke ends their run
1991 - 1-0 Watto knocks them out the Cup
1992 - 2-1 Beardsley and MoJo - a rare come from behind win
2006 - 3-0 AJs game
2009 - 1-0 Gosling

at The Pit
2-0 Lineker and The Rat
1-0 Gary Stevens

also a win in Steve Heighway's Testimonial at The Pit..

obviously too many raw memories - don't get me started - but the 2-0 win Arteta and Cahill was a great way to come home from hospital after emergency surgery (not counting it as wasn't at the game).

Think I am right, last time we had a penalty at home in the Derby. 2003/2004 season, Unsworth, someone will correct me if wrong.

I think my first one was at the pit - 1-0 to us in the Littlewood Cup - Gary Stevens belted one in from 20yds or so. 1987

Wayne Clark ending their unbeaten run!! Thank fu(K!

Sharpy's volley - I was out playing at some airraid shelter by Storeton Woods with my mate, my mum and dad were in Paris for a weekend and I was out and about and missed it!! Marvellous!

I've always loved a win at the pit.

I think our 2-0 win there in 86 with Kev the Rat and Lineker scoring was up there as one of the best!

I'll always remember the 86 cup final too, I really thought we were going to see it out if not grab another. It was half time under the stands at Wembley and I still remember an eerie atmosphere. Normally we're going crazy when we're winning, but this time it just felt weird...hard to describe really.

The Don Hutchison one I still haven't got over tbh.

Most recently Carsley derby and AJ were tip top! My eldest started a chant too from the Main Stand!
