My first derby, superb

They are my memories of great Derbies, that and Cahill who just absolutely got what it was about

Exactly mate.

Before Shankly, Everton were superior. Howard balanced things a bit in the 80s. In fact, for all it's sh*teness, our 90s derby record is actually pretty decent.

It can't be like this forever, and getting over the inferiority complex is just one of the steps to Everton being great again.

......I can remember yard dog yeats leading them out in the 60s and they looked as horrible and common in that all red kit then as they do. There was a game at their place, I think it was in '64 when we were forced to play a few youngsters and won 4-0, but the game I recall was one in the mid-80s when we'd already secured the title. It was right at the end of the season and we didn't have a full side but we won in the manner which they usually do - they just seemed inferior and I think it was John Wark who missed a pen.
 
1977, Maine Road, 2-2....and Clive Thomas.

Still recall every single minute of it.

The Kevin Campbell one too, strangely. It was a massive lift for the Club at a difficult period.
