I looking at Timothée Kolodziejczak on transfermarkt etc just before I came in here. I don't think I've ever seen him play, but 1st choice for the team that finished fourth in Ligue Un, 27, 185cm, etc sounds great on a free. What the hell is the story with his career before that though - especially Mexico?

The problem with these free transfers is they will want fairly decent money and you would imagine a longish contract.

Personally would probably rather just risk it till January myself.

Gbamin can fill in and we have snides to cover him.. Also gibson is apparently good and I I don't think hogate is that bad tbf. So yea, would have been good to get another cb in but I hope mina can play a blinder and stay injury free and Keane can continue his form from the end of last season.

We are definitely weak in depth.
Last season, our centre backs only received 2 yellow cards until January between them so I don’t see suspensions as a huge risk, but injuries definitely are given Mina’s history.
But if we can keep Keane and Mina on the field, I think we will be ok defensively

I’m sure Coleman has filled in at CB in the past, he has the experience to do it if really needed, the new French lad I believe is 6.2 ft so perhaps he could do a job there to, with holgate and Gbamin we should be ok.

Sidibe is not 6'2", maybe 6', and he's a very poor defender to begin with so methinks that's a very bad idea.

If he does assuming Delph comes back healthy, it's not the worst scenario.
