Yeah, I don't know the player. I watch Liga Mx at times, don't remember this dude.

I thought Daniel Schwaab would be interesting b/c Brands signed him for PSV. Know nothing about him, though.

He's a decent player. Played for Sevilla in one of the Europa League finals they won. The thing is I don't think he's actually a free agent. He was on loan at Saint Etienne last season and I think he decided he wasn't going back to Mexico so is just kind of in limbo until they sanction a move back to France. But I don't think he is out of contract so I don't think we could sign him.

The rest of the out of contract list is dire. We just need to hope Yerry and Keane can stay mostly fit and Holgate can be passable until January when we can hopefully sort something out.

Gbamin can fill in and we have snides to cover him.. Also gibson is apparently good and I I don't think hogate is that bad tbf. So yea, would have been good to get another cb in but I hope mina can play a blinder and stay injury free and Keane can continue his form from the end of last season.

I think that’s an old quote, although I certainly think he’ll be ahead of Gibson, if not Holgate.

Sidibe is not 6'2", maybe 6', and he's a very poor defender to begin with so methinks that's a very bad idea.

I’m sure I heard he was 6.2 but does it really matter, it’s attacking that’s our problem not defending.

True, but an odd thing to say all the same? Perhaps they had been told we would expect him to cover at CB?

....it’s easy to predict a Zouma-like Centre Back being the key target for January. I can see the new CB coming into the side at the earliest opportunity and keeping his place. I can also see the new player being paired with Mina and becoming our first choice partnership.

All conjecture, of course.
