What a guy, this summer has been great but if it wasnt for Bill holding us steady when we were doomed, in the grim times, when unless Everton was in your heart you would of run a mile, this summer wouldn't of happened if Bill didnt keep us floating. I see right now Villa are second to bottom in the championship, that is us without Bill

100%

All those chairmen who have destroyed their clubs - too many to mention.
Glad his health seems to be better now

Moyes was a great appointment
Moshiri seems to have been a great move for the club
Everton in the community is absolutely the best thing the club (or any other club) does
His speeches regarding the city, the 96, HK etc. are always excellent

Actual chairman work though left an awful lot to be desired

...and yet the first four lines of your post describe 'actual chairman work'....

Money and business deals, he's not been very good at them. I've given credit where I feel it's well deserved but I'm sure if you're a pro Bill kinda guy you don't need to reel off the usual failings mentioned like the docks, kitbag etc.

Bills always been pretty good in the transfer market. Well known as a tough negotiator in his 'proper' job as well. Bills main problem was that he never really had the 'tools of the trade'...which in football mostly means the money. Since Moshs money has been there as back up, Bills not put a foot wrong.

No, eventually that still would have been us with Bill and without Moshiri.

Nope, no chance, without Bill keeping us level Moshiri wouldn't of come, we were slowly on the up again before Moshiri even came, as much as some don't want to accept it Bill has redeemed himself. Few years ago I wasn't a fan but he promised and did deliver us an owner to take us forward. Job done
