I think they need to change the format somehow to reduce the number of teams and games, also playing a team of mechanics in the depths of Slovakia somewhere on a Thursday night before you play City/Liverpool/Utd on Sunday doesn’t really excite me.

to be fair mate, you've got to beat the dross to play the good teams.

I mean realistically we had 2 very good teams in our group last year, Lyon are a champions league team and atalanta are very good

No mate.

We haven't currently got the funds to go and add to the massive amounts of players in our squad. This window - from the start - has been labelled as 'several out for one in'. That's still the plan.

Like you, I'm not chuffed that at the moment the only realistic out seems to be Gana. But it is what it is. We can't keep adding to the wage bill. It's monstrous as it is.

Hopefully we can punt some of the other deadwood, but I don't think it'll happen.

Mate we've got Morgan Schneiderlin and James McCarthy who can't make the squad but together are probably costing 200k a week. If you were Moshiri, wouldn't you demand they are shifted before he ploughs more money in?
