I think they need to change the format somehow to reduce the number of teams and games, also playing a team of mechanics in the depths of Slovakia somewhere on a Thursday night before you play City/Liverpool/Utd on Sunday doesn’t really excite me.

to be fair mate, you've got to beat the dross to play the good teams.

I mean realistically we had 2 very good teams in our group last year, Lyon are a champions league team and atalanta are very good

And we were embarrassed by both teams mate home and away. It’s ok have nice away days but are we benefiting from it??

we were absolutely awful last season though mate and didn't take advantage of the good season prior

think with brands it'll be different, wont be spending all our money on crabs who all play in the same position

What gets me is we have fans in the Gueye thread saying sell him asap yet other fans slating us for 'selling to buy'

Evertonians. Weird bunch.

I had hoped we would be able to offload a lot more players this window to be honest. The first day at pre season is going to be an absolute nightmare for whoever the manager is.

Selling to buy is exactly what we should be doing because our squad is insanely big and lacking quality. We need to sign hungry young players and lower the age profile of the squad. We've been burned badly trying to sign experienced PL players, so called finished articles.

That's not to say we accept crap offers. But we should be actively looking to find buyers who can meet our terms.
