For a guy who hasn't played a game of footy in ages he was tidy on the ball, got himself about and generally put a shift in. That's all he needed to do, you're being a bit unreasonable.

Interesting i thought he played pretty deep with beni who was brilliant .. didnt really show much attacking intent seemed if anything holding back ( maybe hes been told hes playing next game or getting x amount of minutes )

Are you also still trying to figure out how he scored 35 goals and has 22 assists in the past 2 seasons?

That's impressive but I am only interested in judging him on how he has performed for Everton, and if we're being truthful about it, he didn't show anything to suggest he is going to make it in this league.

I have nothing against him personally I just don't think he has what it takes to make it in the Premier League. We will see from now until the end of the season, and what happens in the Summer anyway.

I don't think he 'refused' to go out loan. He wouldn't deny himself a chance to play for one of the very best teams in the world and possibly win a Serie A title. The move fell through because of image rights, unfortunately for him
