Do what we did in the Europa dead rubber.

Play the academy players and include him in the midfield.

One of only two good performances this season.

I'm still figuring out what his best position his. Behind the striker?

Back to the OP, sure, why not. What has to be achieved over the next nine games is firstly survival, obviously, and secondly trying to build a successful style of play for next season. Hopefully we can give the likes of Klaassen and Tosun some confidence going into next season.

Part two isn't likely to happen with the current manager.

I'm still trying to figure out how he made it as a professional footballer, and at one of the biggest clubs in Europe historically and played in a Europa League Final. Wouldn't even consider giving him a chance until we're mathematically safe.

If safe, I wouldn't mind seeing him given a chance to prove the doubters wrong. If he still doesn't show anything I hope we move him on in the summer. Didn't show a single thing in the appearances he made early on in the season to justify selection even now with the team so poor.

Are you also still trying to figure out how he scored 35 goals and has 22 assists in the past 2 seasons?

Reckon he’d cry during the game

Was thinking the other day about how Moyes always placed an emphasis on signing players with the right character (assuming by that he means a mental toughness).

And latterly we've signed Keane and Klaassen, who both appear to be players who after a poor game or two lose all semblance of self-confidence and self-belief; and the likes of Williams and Schneiderlin who shirk all manner of responsibility when things are not going well.

I'll give Klaassen a pass at the moment though, given it's first season in a new country / new league and he's only made a half-dozen or so starts.

Moyes was renowned for his due diligence at us, why he got called dithering Dave. But he certainly built unity

That’s what hurts the most, we had players who’d run through walls for us to a gang of wet lettuces with no spirit or backbone

Another player bought with no idea or plan of how he would fit into the team. Fact is, we had no plan for him.

It’s a long list, add Vlasic, Bolasie, Rooney, Iceman, Lookman. Funnily enough we said Lennon & Barry weren’t up to it, Mirallas had his own agenda separate to what the club planned. We gave a contract to Benni to stave off interest elsewhere, plays well against Chelsea & hen sent to Klaasenland.

We have no idea what we are doing. That’s the players, the three Managers of this season, the DoF, the Board. The only ones who seem to care are the fans. Is it Klaasen’s fault? Gets a pass from me because I actually have no idea if he’s any good or not.

...on today’s display, I can’t see how he’d be any worst than Davies. Saying that, I think Vlasic might be the lad in that central position. Regardless, either are worth a go.
