We went down to breakfast, and seen him in his everton tracky. Meself and the lads said hello and asked him afew questions, Barkley etc. he just replied "**** off" turned round and got in the lift. One of the lads wanted o fill him in. No time for him at all

Whenever I see stories like this I always think to myself that they're unlikely. How many people tell others to f' off for no reason?

Bill called and told me he'd decided to go externally, which I understand his reasoning, but I came out of the interview knowing I was ready to be a manager. It was a great experience for me and made me realise how much I wanted it and how much I was ready for it. So overall it was completely the right thing to do. I've no regrets. I genuinely feel I was close, although you're better asking Bill that.

Tough times for davie at the moment. Taking marlon king on seems like a desperate measure. Hope he can get things going for them.

He's started every game with 1 up top & the natives have become restless, he's got a couple of games to turn it around or the new owners will get out the shotgun.

Am a bit surprised that he didn't come back to Everton for any of the youngsters.

If he loses the next match they'll sack him. It's at home against a Preston team that's started well.

I listened to the BBC Sheffield post match phone-in last week and the United fans were furious with him. As said, he's trying to play the ball to feet and it's not paying off. He's on borrowed time there. No doubt Moyes will roll out the carpet at OT for him though.

Davek, I am not sure that any coach going to Utd under DM could regard it as a long term career decision.
