David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

You're right, it's what is wrong with the club at the moment, because not all of them are giving their all. As bad as they have been playing, there is no way this side should be fighting relegation yet we are. Sort that aspect out first and we will stand a far better chance of staying up.

The lack of quality in the team that is needed for us to progress and challenge the top 6 is a different matter and that is down to mistakes by Koeman, Walsh and Moshiri and has not been influenced by Unsworth.

We had 1 stand out top 6 standard player and we allowed him to leave to the side that came ahead by 1 place when he had 2 years left on his contract and just decided to not bother replacing him.

Isn’t that why Die Hard Blue Unsy was put in charge?? To instill pride for the shirt, when the truth his he’s inability to organise a team is leaving holes all over the place.

But he’s a blue, so gets a pass?? Nah, he needs to go in the bin with Royle, Kenwright, Woods and Ferguson

I was expecting some improvement in our defence under him, he was a decent defender, but we've actually got worse which reflects on him badly as a coach.

Some of the positioning of the defence yesterday was the worst defending I've seen at this club, we are nowhere near getting even the basics right.
At the end of the day sadly it has not worked for Unsworth but they are mostly Koemans or Walsh's signings expensive ones at that - Keane / Williams { who returned unfit and still looks unfit he is that heavy he has a job to run or jump for the ball}!

The reason why Orly fully supported the trial appointment of Unsy - now mr two mirrors is at it again I supported unsworth , but agree it is not working out not slating unsworth for it!
Five weeks is not 18 months of blowing all our transfer funds, and finding the golf course more attractive than our club!

Joe, are you deliberately ignoring this?

I thought Unsy should either get it permanently or not at all, to avoid the situation we are now in where we will be looking for a new manager and possibly a new U23 coach as his confidence and motivation will likely be obliterated.

I've noticed @Joey66 having a pop at you lately orly, maybe he is trying to crush you for some reason mate.

Haha! Joe couldn't crush me, and he wouldn't want to, because he agrees with me about Unsy.

Keane, outstanding defender at Burnley, one of their best players, Williams, rock solid defender at Swansea, ok he's 2 years older but the positioning and tracking of players by these two are Sunday league standard recently, you can lose form, you can lose a bit of pace as you get older, but you should never lose the experience you've gained over the years of how to defend and set up and position yourself on the pitch.

They need proper coaching, my conclusions of Koeman is he was a piss poor coach, leaving it up to his back room team, couldn't wait to clock off and go do his own thing, mainly holidaying and playing golf, not dedicated enough for sure.

I have decided I don't want Unsworth as our manager because I do not like any manager having a nickname.

It's Unsworth or Mr. Unsworth. Not "Unsy".

Not having any Big Sam's either.

They were both poor under Koeman explain away?

If they were better before they came here then something is not going right with the coaching, that's the point I'm making, and I expected an improvement under Unsworth as he's done well with the 23's, but it's actually got worse.

This chump can't be in charge for the next game, we're now that [Poor language removed] that we'll take any manager who just knows how to organise a squad.

Although now after yesterday I think we need to change I really fear it will make little difference.

Williams, Jags, Baines are all done. Keane is awful and Kenny is a kid. We have no other defenders worth talking about.

Not sure what any manager can do to make that defence premiership standard apart from buying players in January.
