David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

This is what’s wrong with our club, if people give their all then they’re classed as good. It’s a poor mentality. He was an average centre back and has been an awful first team manager

You're right, it's what is wrong with the club at the moment, because not all of them are giving their all. As bad as they have been playing, there is no way this side should be fighting relegation yet we are. Sort that aspect out first and we will stand a far better chance of staying up.

The lack of quality in the team that is needed for us to progress and challenge the top 6 is a different matter and that is down to mistakes by Koeman, Walsh and Moshiri and has not been influenced by Unsworth.

We had 1 stand out top 6 standard player and we allowed him to leave to the side that came ahead by 1 place when he had 2 years left on his contract and just decided to not bother replacing him.

I remember that after Martinez, but it just feels wrong. Apparently Joe comes down the changies at half time every game - I wonder who gives the team talk or tactics because even after half time we are still set up wrong.

You would think that having, Royal, Unsworth, Ebbrell and Dunc in the changies that there would be a bit of a rocket put up the players behinds about what it means playing for this club.

The players aren't playing for Unsy, thats clear - they are enjoying the piggy back relays though.

I actually think it comes down to most of the players having no respect for those you mention mate.

A simple truth which says so much about the people running this club.

The problem is the scenario of those real evertonians in charge you mention trying to boss the players who are on more pay than those in charge and are not turning up for us what powers can they wield over such lucrative contracts?
Apart from that - also the squad being a mess with koeman and walsh flushing it down the proverbial toilet!

Thats rubbish great players usually make the worst managers with a few exceptions - here's two our own Alan Ball- and United's Bobby Charlton!

Hindsight from you again orly you supported Unsworth to be given a chance oh by the way koeman never won away from home its nearly 12 months we won away - By the way last year's match v Southampton away we got beat 3-0 not managing to score!

That was the match Saints star player was a young lad stepping up from the reserves whom had been at the club for years and Koeman admitted he had never heard of him

Yes before fans get the grump over out temporary manager they need to think back 5 weeks to remember what the 7 million a year manager was serving up!
Hence he was sacked!

Joe, I've literally said in the post you replied to:

I've said about giving him the undisputed chance.

Koeman won away at Palace. But where you are right is that he drew at home to Watford. He then of course only lost 3 of the next 16 matches. I think we are at 11 losses for the season already, with 5 of them for Unsy.

I've noticed @Joey66 having a pop at you lately orly, maybe he is trying to crush you for some reason mate.

Ah come on Joe. Yes Koeman and Walsh put this squad together but that's a side that managed two shots on goal yesterday. He has palpably made things worse.
it looks like @Joey66 is trying to crush you for some reason mate.
The reason why Orly fully supported the trial appointment of Unsy - now mr two mirrors is at it again I supported unsworth , but agree it is not working out not slating unsworth for it!
Five weeks is not 18 months of blowing all our transfer funds, and finding the golf course more attractive than our club!

I was expecting some improvement in our defence under him, he was a decent defender, but we've actually got worse which reflects on him badly as a coach.

Some of the positioning of the defence yesterday was the worst defending I've seen at this club, we are nowhere near getting even the basics right.
