David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Unsworth is looking rightky to Southampton.

If it were me last night had have debuted 11 players from the Academy.
Unsworth is, or rather should be, looking at the exit door.

Conceding 5 at home to a team who hasn't won away all season is a disgrace.

Worst audition for the manager's job I have ever seen from a caretaker. He will rightly be booted out soon.

He shouldn't even be given the Southampton game.

Penalties are the only thing that got us points from Watford and Palace.

Basically Niasse has been his one saving grace.... ironic as Unnnnnnnnsy was in Koeman's ear from the off about how bad he is.

Doesn't even have him for the Southampton game.

Just does not seem to have the skill or ability to be the first team manager at this present time. Also seems to have peeved a few players off as well which is not good when your already poor squad is abysmal.

Unsworth has tried his best to alienate other candidates. He keeps saying how he 'gets' what the fans want. He can't point to anything else other than being a fan of the club.

Rubbish player and an even worse manager.

Think it's mad how some people are blaming only the players and letting unsworth off because he' a blue. I like the feller I really do but he takes as much blame as the players. We conceded 3 from a corner last night. 3 though we have leaked goals all season the first thing the team should be looking at is keeping it solid. We have conceded first in every game we have conceded 16 in 6 under him. He' playing a different team/formation every single game

They're all as bad as each other. The board the management and the players

They don' deserve to be at a club l8ke Everton with fans like us

Bunch of cowards..absolutely hate all things everton now

Isolate the PL games from the cups. He's done ok there. He's basically had to try and audition for this job trying to also make a fist of it in those dead rubbers and with another managers disastrous signings.

He may not be up to the job but I wouldn't make that judgement off the series of games he's had on his plate.

We have 4 more points now than we would have had if Koeman had remained in place, and that is the priority for me. We are in a relegation struggle with a relegation class squad.
Who, out of the realistically available men, would you go for?

I change my mind daily but today I’d get Dyche.

The EL and LC games were nothing games. We all knew they were there to be endured.

Three PL games are all that interest me: a win, a draw and a loss.

I think the most damning thing about Unsworth is that he has made team selections that benefit him rather than the team.

He said in his first press conference 'we need a winning manager'. He's lost 4 of his 6 games. He's been hammered in Lyon and even worse, at home to a side that hadn't won an away game all season. He keeps picking Davies because there's this weird cult fetish for him, despite the fact the lad is absolutely useless at the moment.

The most astonishing thing though is that he keeps using the same formation as Koeman. Fantastic way to show that he has zero fresh ideas.

The parallels with Gary Neville are remarkable. Get rid of this dad on the Sunday League touchline and get a proper coach in.

I'd get Silva in. And I think we still will. I sense no slackening off of the push for him, regardless of certain news outlets.

Let's see how we all feel after Sunday's game. If We get something out of that then Unsworth's record in the PL games looks supportable to carry on a while longer. 4 from 6 against S'ton and West Ham gets him the job imo.

So you now want him booted out of the club even after all the good work he's done with the under 23s?

HE ISN'T EVEN IN THE JOB FFS

It's not his fault our useless board, DoF and - currently - majority Shareholder - haven't had a plan since before they sacked Koeman.

Nothing games, aye? Can I have my money back then?

I honestly don’t think you have watched the games against Leicester, Palace and Watford. If you did, you’d see that then 4 points masked absolutely horrific performances.
