David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

It is amazing how anyone wanted him to have the job thinking he would be ok lol it's the prem it's a huge job in a tough league, and kenwright etc well that's him all over. And I'm sorry but it's also the same for anyone thinking joe royle footballs moved on ages since he managed. Unsworth needs to go back to the under 23s were he's good. And not stay here were he's not.

To have things right, it was always going to go this way.

It's hard to see any manager in world football getting a tune out of this team, let alone a manager of an under 23s team.

He's not the right man obviously, but he was never likely to be was he? I find it hard to be too critical of him as my expectations of him were so low to start with.

Keane and Williams playing terrible, one of them on a yellow card...

Brings a centre back on for a rightback.. Unsy that.

He is just out of his depth, lovely man and a great person to speak about our club and about football in general, but he is so far ill equipped for whats going on its unreal. He is actually making Koeman looking like a good tactician.

He doesn't do himself any favours admittedly with things like that. But I think that was to give Kenny a rest for Sunday. Which mean Cuco won't be playing so it's almost OK.

There are countless other weird moves though.

See I get it from that perspective mate Kenny could do with a breather - I do, it was probably something which had to happen - it was just top of my list of weird decisions and tactical moves he has made.

I just dont think he is equipped enough to deal with the big boys game, piggyback drills and laughing in training might work sound with the U23s who need that love and affection, the squad is regressing at an alarming rate under him.

Oh I agree with all of that. But this was always going to happen with him in charge I fear, barely even his fault. He's only trying to help and do his best.

It just needs to end really really soon.

The only thing that matters are PL points.

Couldn't care less if we lost that one last night 10-0. Points on Sunday is the priority.

4 points from the next two are my target not getting a useless result in a cup that was never in play anyway.

You know what mate, I proper wanted it to work for Unsy. I have met him loads, done lots of work with him so I know how much it would mean to him... I thought he might have an impact like he did with the Norwich game the other year, he just can't get through to these players you could see it last night with his post match comments.

The players won't play for him, or he can't get through to them to make them play... not sure which one is worse at this moment in time!
