Dunno mate. He's not responsible for the build up to this, sure, but he is responsible for the last seven games. Just as if he'd won them, he'd have been saying to the board 'look at this, I want the job'. He can't say it's not on him now it has gone wrong.

Absolutely no one wins here. It's a disaster.
It’s scary mate that what it is ! The board needs to move quickly now as we are in trouble !

He is out of his depth. Good job though for under 23s and think it is very harsh people turning on him. Last week at palace he came over to us at the end but today he didn’t as I am sure he is the most hurt by this !
yeah I understand all that and he is a great asset to the club with the academy etc. I don't like to see people turning on him and he has been exposed by Kenwright and Moshiri in what is a very difficult time, he can hold his head up high in so far as the way he has conducted himself, I think it would be harsh to leave him in the post any longer because he is clearly struggling.

Totally agree mate !

Even if he picks the 'right' team on paper, in practice they've got to work very hard, and harder than they have so far. Put in the effort with the organisation and that would be a start. There's no team work or leadership. Playing as individuals and playing badly.

Of course, they still have to do the business. That starting lineup today was utter gash.

i don't think hes conducted himself creditably at all. he's brought with him an incredible level of self entitlement to the job, a role that he has absolutely no qualifications or background for. that the board have played along with this nonsense speaks volumes for them as well.

Couldn't help but notice how long Unsworth sat in his seat today as the performance went from dreadful to an absolute disgrace. Felt like a protest to me - sit back and let things unravel, the owner isn't communicating with me. If there is any truth in that assumption, shows you that even 'loyal' former players will put their own ambitions ahead of the fans who help pay their wages. The lack of urgency from interim manager and overpaid players had me smashing the remote into the sofa. More than a whiff of self-interest for me....hope I am wrong.

We had been a full back driven league for so long. As Baines declined, so did Everton in truth. We need our players to move about more and get open. Everything is too slow and no shape or runs are being created... which is why we need to abandon playing in the middle for the time being. As daft as it sounds, we need to ignore the middle and focus entirely on getting crosses/passes in from out wide. Most of the teams that struggle to create do exactly this and cheese their way to results. Give our fullbacks ample cover with Gueye or whoever they decide to stick with him (please no more Schneiderman). Kenny has a hell of a cross on him and it's criminal that we haven't utilized that.

Think a lot of this is absolutely spot on

Yup very noticeable at the ground ... no movement from the bench from him or Rooney !

I noticed this too..
He called Mirrallas over a few times giving him instructions though, which I got the impression Mirrallas listened too, jogged off and ignored.. Only my opinion.
Although when Ebbrell was stood on the touchline a fan shouted at him, about his hair situation. This was the only time I smiled during the game.
