i agree that while tom baker wasn't my generation doctor he was superb.

Allm those camp ones they had in the 80s were terrible.

Tom Baker is The Doctor. The other ones are just vying for runner up. Tennant was up there though.

More importantly, who has been the best (ie, fittest) companion?

I have to admit I am of the age of Bonnie Langford (I still would) and the lovely Sophie Aldred.

The new one however, looks to be a winner. Karen Gillan playing Amy. Lovely.
