Get him in Karen and get him in the world football thread. No Moyes for us! Get him in Karen!
The mind boggles. No Moyes for us! Get him in Karen!
Bill Kenwright wants him back, it's a damn fact.
He doesn't have to take the job....Like Martinez the man got the club and still does. It's best that we don't revisit it though, he's going to have a terrible time at West Ham under those owners though.
It just doesn't work like that mate. Arsenal conceded 8 against United once, clubs don't get given a divine right to not get battered based on size.
To me they do. (Though its not a divine right, I do expect top flight professionals to be able to not ship a goal every 13 minutes.)
I would have sacked him on the spot.
Wenger would have got the same.
Hard taskmaster me.
You couldn't possibly have sacked him for one result, there would have been uproar, especially after just getting a dire squad into the top 4.
If I was feeling generous I may have give him one last chance and then would have sacked him after getting battered by the 3rd best team in Bucharest.
There were definitely times during that season where I thought he should have been under pressure to fair. The Villa battering on Boxing Day when we let Mark Delaney score would've finished him off in this day and age.
Was that the Kroldrup game?
I think we lost 4-0 to Villa, West Brom and Bolton in quick succession around that time.
Joking aside (I mean I wouldn't REALLY have sacked him then) I remember being fuming at the Arsenal game end when I looked around everyone was OK with it because we finished 4th, I found that a really strange (if somewhat understandable) attitude.
