David Moyes

I liked David Moyes and appreciated everything he done for us as a manager. But his mentality I despised. His own negativity is what made him fail at United, and then he was negativity on steroids at Sunderland and look where they are now.

Would welcome the Moyessiah home with welcome arms...

One of our best managers... Would sort it all out & get us back where we belong...

Would do a better job than Allardyce for sure....has more passion & knows & cares about this club...
Dyche is unknown territory....

So it's Moyes for me.....it's an obvious choice so why are we waiting....IMWT....

No, sorry I'm not having this ' cares about the club' nonsense you keep spouting. He shook our club off like a dog turd off his boot the moment his mate Fergie whistled him home .
We were just his stepping stone to better things. Funny how that turned out isn't it.

True to an extent. I think at Man Utd he failed as they wanted him to run the club on the cheap. Woodward tried to get Baines and Fellaini for less than their true worth, and made the club look like mugs. Ferguson had been allowing that club to be run down for years, and bailed as he knew the team was on its last legs. If it was not for Mancini falling out with the squad Man City would have won that year - they even lost to Wigan after he was sacked before the game!

They overcorrected by really splashing the cash under LVG and Mourinho, but I still do not think they are close to what they used to be. The style of football especially is atrocious

Sociedad he did OK, but was ultimately a failure - did well the first season and had a bad start the second. Language difficulties and the fact he was just a head coach rather than the more expansive role he enjoyed at Everton really did him in.

Sunderland would have failed if they had Fergie, Ancelotti or Big Sam for that matter in charge. The squad had a terrible attitude and the money was not made available to improve the team. Big Sam was complaining about that before bailing for England, and according to journalists he was getting set to walk out ala Crystal Palace even before he got the England job due to the lack of funds. I mean, they sold their main fullback to Palace, and then Moyes was not given the full fee, and instead he got Bryan Oviedo on the cheap. If you look at what happened post-Moyes, the sale of Pickford, the 1M investment in the team, the appointment of Grayson after being turned down by Derek McInnes of Aberdeen. It is very much a club loaded with debt that looks to be in a very dangerous downward spin.
