Moyes would last 5 minutes up there.
He's a faux disciplinarian and an utter fake.
When he was at Celtic Boys Club he was trying to be all officious and 'managerial' with other players. In the real world of OF football he'dhimself.

The best gif since Ainsley Harriots give your meat a good ol' rub
We need a manager with a touch of Joe Royle not just for the Derby record but his willingness to say 'B###ocks to you're dream final' when the need arises.I'd be happy going into a series of derbies with a local lad or ex-player.
Can you imagine either of those losing 16 derbies in 12 seasons? I find it hard to believe.
That suggests to me that the manager doesn't emphasise this fixture at all. In fact, foreign Liverpool managers who have the bigger fish of CL competition to fry have usually been more up for a derby than Moyes has ever been.
I cant remember Moyes ever being furious after a derby loss. He's way too respectful of them and always will be.
In a derby, 'cap in hand gets kick in teeth', as they used to say.
We never normally beat them. Our record against any of the Sky six is horrendous. If we beat them both in a season, how is it a one off?
Unfortunately Joe Royle wasn't good enough despite his excellent derby record and his media savvyWe need a manager with a touch of Joe Royle not just for the Derby record but his willingness to say 'B###ocks to you're dream final' when the need arises.
If we snotted then 5-0 home and away but lost every other game I'm positive everyone would be delighted with relegation.Need a manager just for the derby lads nsno!!!
The derby is a mentality problem, imo it doesn’t matter what players we have there is just some sort of block there. That is the managers responsibility to address this, whoever the manager is.Since the start of the 2013/14 season, Everton have faced Liverpool 28 times in all competitions. It has been a historically difficult period for the Toffees, who have managed only two wins in that span.
The record stands at:
- Everton Wins: 2
- Draws: 12
- Liverpool Wins: 14
I think the problem might not be Moyes. There's a collective neurosis about them and I'm convinced they feed off it when we play them.
Take another look at their second. That's down to individual mistakes, from players.I really think a manager's role is to take 11 individuals and gel them into an effective team playing his tactics. If, as you say, their performance is radically different week to week, then I think it is fair to say that the manager is not doing a great job, for whatever reason.
Only two have. Dyche and Carlo. The derby is a mentality problem, imo it doesn’t matter what players we have there is just some sort of block there. That is the managers responsibility to address this, whoever the manager is.
...which could be down to the manager not making changes to tired players...we can just agree to disagree. Every goal scored is due to the individual effort of the guy who passed the ball and the guy who put it in the net. Manager has zero direct input in any of these goals just like you point out he has zero direct input in goals that are conceded...there is usually a player's error in that. Im fine with this. You think Moyes is a better manager than I do. Thats fineTake another look at their second. That's down to individual mistakes, from players.

Liverpool were awful yesterday. We're still carrying too many players that aren't good enough to have a proper go at them. McNeil, Mykolenko, Tarkowski, Keane, Barry and probably O'Brien (as a right back) just aren't good enough at this level. Tbh even Garner and Gueye were a level below yesterday.
Consequently we're left picking our moments and having to defend exceptionally well throughout to get 3 points. As soon as it went 1-0 to them, you just felt the life drain out of our team and supporters because we know how tough a ask the game had become.
Let's just hope they spunk another ÂŁ400m this summer and we get every transfer right. It's going to take something like that for this fixture to change.
I know what you mean, but on the flip side, the players (e.g. Barry) could do with knowing and showing how much it means to supporters and put some effort in.Only two have. Dyche and Carlo.
I genuinely think Carlo would just be cool hand Luke over it. Dyche I'm not sure about.
But I honestly think the utter frenzy over these lot transmits to the players. The sheer desperation and neediness is quite sad really. Hence collective neurosis. Its not just on the manager, it's on everyone associated with club to not get so wound up over these.
So you're telling me that Everton have a problem winning against Liverpool, not Moyes? I am Jack's complete lack of surprise. From Gemini AI:
