2025/26 David Moyes

My preference was to move him on at the end of the season, but if that wasn’t on the cards then they had to offer him a new deal which it seems like they’re doing, so fair play to TFG for not sitting on their hands.

My concern is that we’re torpedoing our chances of building an exciting, younger squad to take us forward, but with the results we’ve had this season I am not gonna die on the “Moyes Out” hill.
Very noble of you 😂

It's the job of recruitment to give Moyes players like Ndiaye, KDH, Garner, Grealish and we'll progress fine. It's not like he doesn't get the best out of technical players, they've just got to be of a certain age to play regularly. I think Moyes would've loved a midfielder like Onana for example, someone dyche could not utilise at all.

If we do, it’ll be the biggest mistake TFG could make. I get that some people still think it’s 2009, but judging by his record in the transfer market since leaving Everton, any Blue, whatever they think of Moyes, should want him kept as far away from transfer decisions as possible.
Last summer was grim. Full backs a joke. Little room for Rohl, and Dibling not the player we needed. Barry raw. I wasnt in favour of the gamble on Jack, either.

Fast forward 8 months
- were competing for Europe
- team is working hard
- KDH , Garner, Ndiaye absolutely great. Harrison a prospect.

Someone posted a week or two back our AVG PPG with Jack was 1.7 and 1.2 without... In that respect we/ Moyes might've been a bit unlucky.

I'm still baffled by the summer business, and some of the performances in Jan/ Feb...but if we make the conference or higher it's probably his detractors that have to eat humble pie ( inc. me )

Europe would be amazing.

But I don't have a season ticket and it's easy to say, "focus on Europe" when you're not forking out to be at HD week in...

Also Grealish!

Also Barry, Dibling.
Is Barry on the bad list? He's played in every game, you'd have to admit that's probably a lot more than what they would have expected from him at the start of the season, and he's scored a few on the way. He might not play like it yet but that amount of action has to be a positive for him to build on. Hopefully the recent shenanigans can be swept under the carpet so he can progress.

He also scored a winning goal with his arse, but he's a bit of a donkey. Maybe he'll come good at some point but currently he's not suited to the Prem at all and I have no idea how we scouted him etc., as that was obvious from his highlight reel  Not touching the off-the-field crap he's still poo more often than not.
