Oh you suddenly care about where we are in the net spend table now? Lol, the irony.
And you suddenly DON’T care about it, wow well colour me astonished. You seem to like shouting off about other people having agendas, that’s the fun part.

I wonder which result tomorrow means another 24 hour hiatus for the contrarian in chief.
Ahh so ignoring it for an agenda it is then
And you suddenly DON’T care about it, wow well colour me astonished. You seem to like shouting off about other people having agendas, that’s the fun part.
But you are ignoring it.I’m not ignoring it.
I’m pointing out the hypocrisy of those people who ignored it for 2 seasons and are now suddenly extremely interested in it.
You do realise they’re not the same thing
Our poor squad quality and low net spend existed then, it exists now. Can’t put your fingers in your ears for two seasons whenever it was brought up and now suddenly act like you’ve discovered a causal link between squad quality and results for the first time just because the manager has changed.
Almost everyone in the league has a higher transfer net spend and a better squad than us. Should we just write off all those games before a ball is kicked?
No but we probably shouldn't assume we are going to win them should we?Almost everyone in the league has a higher transfer net spend and a better squad than us. Should we just write off all those games before a ball is kicked?
But you are ignoring it.
You told me there's no reason we can't expect to beat them in the match thread.
I've just given you a very good one, over the last five years they've spent much, much more than us.
If we lose to the much more expensive side tomorrow it proves nothing.
"But you wanted results non the less"This was literally the case for the vast majority of every team Dyche played against but you wanted results non the less.
It’s just hypocrisy.
You are literally rolling out excuses before a ball has been kicked that you would not accept under a previous manager.
It will be a difficult game v Forest. They have better players than we do. It still doesn’t mean we can’t win though. We can put in a better performance than they do, as we did at Bramley Moore.
You just said you expected us to beat Forest who are 11 places above us in the spend table? Why is that, as last year you expected us to lose to every team with a higher net spend than us and used to laud the former manager as the messiah for getting draws against them? So by your own logic a draw tomorrow would be a great result wouldn’t it?
Forest are at home and have a squad that cost 4x what ours cost, and they aren’t missing their 4 best players either. Thats why they’re favourites and that’s why most people here would take a draw.

Stop shadow arguing debates from years ago with other posters and respond to what we are actually discussing today.
It's like the ramblings of a lunatic this as you rock back and forth arguing with yourself.
Where did I say I expected us to beat them? Nor did I expect us to lose to every team last season. You’ve just made that up.
It’s quite simple, you either think player quality and squad investment is a determining factor in football results or not.
It wasn’t me who spent 2 years pretending player quality and money were irrelevant ‘no excuses Sean’. You now suddenly do think it is relevant. It’s called hypocrisy.
It’s always been relevant. It was relevant then, it’s relevant now.
I think we’ll win, and why shouldn’t we? We have a better manager and their manager apparently couldn’t manage his way out of a paper bag so why is the forum full of people predicting a loss?
And people are telling you it's certainly possible but by no means guaranteed. Are we even the bookies favourite? What we’re discussing today is that I think Everton can beat a team that’s 17th in the league. If you don’t then that’s your opinion.
That was easy.
And people are telling you it's certainly possible but by no means guaranteed. Are we even the bookies favourite?
While they might be 17th now they've spent piles more money on their squad than we have, haven't they?
