In the cold light of day, and all things considered, yesterday was a great result.
Over the years Burnley have never been an easy team to beat at Turf Moor in the Prem.
We were lucky to get away with a draw.

Mmm. Mitchell would be good. There seems to be a consensus on here that you need full backs. Kamada and Pino would be decent for you through the middle. Imo Mateta and Nketiah are better than what you currently have up top. I appreciate that Henderson wouldn't get in over Pickford but he'd get in everywhere else.
I've been worrying anout Palace since 1968. Glasner will go at some point and whenever that is it won't be the end of the world. Both our squads are pretty thin.

Is Glasner in talks for a new deal mate or is it nailed on he'll leave?
Yes I'd imagine he would. He's done a fantastic job and especially as he's had a couple of really tough moments in the job and come through them. Palace just look like a really good side to watch under him.He put them on hold, he will have his pick though in the Summer..
And Palace is just his latest trick. He built his reputation at Eintracht Frankfurt, a proper big club in Germany. He won’t be fazed by whatever big club he joins.Yes I'd imagine he would. Acid test for their ambition this year. If they are happy to plod along into comfortable irrelevance, Moyes is their man. He’ll help them nurse their investment for an eventual flip. But if they want something more, they’ll need someone else - and they’ll need a better managerial selection process than the one applied to transfer targets last summer…I wonder if TFG will throw our name into the hat? Moyes still has a year left but really good managers don't come available very often do they.

Don't know. Most think he will go, depends (in part) on what happens in the January window. Is Glasner in talks for a new deal mate or is it nailed on he'll leave?

Still we scored 29 goals in 19 games, you are always going to get games against poor opposition when you bag a few goals so no surprise we got 4 against Leicester. We've played some poor teams this season we just haven't scored those goals. Similarly the last 12 games of last season we played the whole of the top 5 in the league, so no surprise we weren't going to get as many goals. I think half a season gives you a pretty good indication of where you are and you can dress it up anyway you like but we aren't as good this season as we were last season. It wasn’t a sustained and consistent increase in our scoring rate though, the figure is skewed by a few games early on. We only scored 13 in the last 12 games of last season. Basically some people just went hilariously overboard as if they’ve never actually seen football before and acted as if Beto scoring 5 in 4 games was indisputable evidence that he was actually a 20 goal a season striker rather than just a bog standard player having a purple patch.
