2025/26 David Moyes

I imagine that we had the best striker we've had in the PL that year with Lukaku. And the wheels fell off man utd once the ferguson factor had retired.

mourinho skill?
van gaal skill?
ten hag skill?
amorim skill?

I didn't hand pick him for the job, their most successful and one of the most successful club managers of all time did.

Need good footwork for this game...
Their most successful manager might have been good at coaching but that doesn't make him good at spotting other coaches.

Mourinho got them second place and a Europa League, he at least had them trending upwards. Even Van Gaal won an FA cup and got them back in the CL.

But look, when Moyes does bad it's not his fault, when he does good it's all him. I get that that's your argument, I obviously disagree. I'd be interested in how you excuse his Sunderland relegation season, it would be entertaining.

I'll speak for me thank you.

Wow you are relentlessly boring, you could put a glass eye to sleep!! I can see above that I’m not the only person you’re having to explain your self to. Mate all the best, you do you and I’ll move on from this really boring exchange. Maybe go for a walk Moomin, clear your head a little. All the best!!

What I said originally was factually correct though.

You claimed it wasn't and I had an agenda.

I proved you wrong.

You could say sorry and I was right or you can carry on denying it. I'm quite happy to carry it on.

Erik Ten Hag managed to win trophies

We are "stable" and that's fine but we don't have time to hang about either.

I do think TFG will ultimately take the same view, that might be considered harsh to some but I am still of the opinion that Moyes will finish this season here, but not start 26/27.

I’d be the opposite really mate, I think he could actually sign a new contract after next season. He's also a TFG appointment, they really like him.

Hes a comfort blanket here, hel eventually get the club into Europe with sustained investment.

I think the biggest challenge facing TFG is who to appoint after him…I think that is a massively challenging task to do here.
