Heks had a nightmare run.
I'd still take him over the dour dinosaur though. In a heartbeat.
He's lost his whole defence from last season. Semenyo now leaving. Bournemouth are tinpot.

Why don’t you post so constantly after a good Everton result?Isn't that what I just said?
Who were Dyche's 5 best players? He didn't have KDH or Grealish and he only had Ndiaye for a few months. He had Pickford, Gana and Branthwaite but Branthwaite was out injured at times for him. So, Dyche also had to play without Grealish, KDH, Branthwaite and Ndiaye and had to play weak teams. In my opinion, and in yours if my memory serves (I can hit the vaults if you like), he did a bad job with those teams. Where we differ, it seems, is that you're happy to excuse poor performances from Moyes when he has to put out a team that has a similar quality to the teams that Dyche had to play every week whereas I am not. Like I say, you don't apply the same standards to Moyes as you do for Dyche. It's odd.Again, at no point in his Everton career was Dyche without his 5 best players at the same time. I’m not comparing the situations because they’re not the same, you and some others are pretty desperately trying to make them the same, for some unknown reason.
Moyes is outperforming Dyche anyway in every single metric, and has done since the day he joined the club. Not sure where this theory that he’s not doing so has come from either, that seems to have also been invented.
Isn't that what I just said?
It's nonsensical. "Stability" in the context it is used in this debate is almost meaningless. It seems that simply surviving relegation is now a reasonable aspiration, whereas under Dyche it was not. I swear to god that some people on here have Everton-induced PTSD. Moyes has to outperform Dyche. It's that simple. Otherwise we might as well have kept him in post. Ideally we wouldn't appoint self-reverential dour ginger blowhards but that seems to be our MO.
We should be beating a patched up Burnley.

Who is your favourite positive Everton manager since Moyes left ?Why do people keep bringing up Dyche as a defence for Moyes?
Dyche is a negative manager.
Moyes is a negative manager.
They should both be fired from a cannon out of our history.
I loathed Dyche. I wanted him out after that first season once he pulled off the great escape. Check the vaults, there are few on here who were more critical than me when it came to Dyche. Excusing Moyes for dreadful performances, like today's, because of injuries whilst not affording Dyche that same courtesy is what I'm aggrieved about. In my opinion, both Dyche and Moyes fail to get the best out of this squad, particularly when the top players are out of the starting line up. Calling Dyche "Mr Egotistical" whilst Moyes tries to deflect attention from himself by claiming a Burnley side with 8 members of their first team squad was their "best side" and we did well to get a point is also funny. That comment was positively Dychian. This forum has double standards when it comes to managers, some, who are more well liked, get away with a lot more than others. That Dyche comment is mental mate. I'd genuinely not seen a team with relegation stamped all over it to the team dyche was putting out for the first 6 months last season.
Even Mr Egotistical himself said he had nothing left.
Where have you plucked that from.
It's getting a bit silly how you can quite literally set your watch to the Barry Beto subs this season. On the hour every game without failAfter the Beto 4 Barry/Barry 4 Beto sub, I think the 2 he made really stifled any little of bit of creativity we had. Rohl for Alcaraz offered nothing, Patterson for Dibling was holding out for a point.
And for the love of God, grow a pair and leave 1 player as an outball from corners so that we might resemble a team looking to hit the opposition on the counter.
Considering how defensive and negative we were, we still should have lost that game.
Would have to go with Martinez.Who is your favourite positive Everton manager since Moyes left ?
How did that go?Would have to go with Martinez.
