I’m sorry but it doesn’t mean that at all. It’s not 1993 anymore, we are allowed to make 5 subs which is half an outfield XI. If you aren’t utilising subs as part of your game plan then you’re going to get left behind.

I have no doubt we’d be using subs more if we’d assembled a proper squad in the summer.

I wouldn't give that divvy another penny: £110M on players - half of whom he wont play; and £27M on a striker who cant score.

Ndiaye scored 9 league goals last season, and was our top scorer. Cal-Lewin and Doucoure both scored 3 each in the league. McNeil 4. Beto 8.
Irony being with Grealish and Ndiaye, Cal-Lewin would have gotten better service than he's had in years. As a better hold up man it'd mean our midfield could push faster as well.

I don't understand this crying about the use of subs when the options to bring off the bench are often McNeill, Aznou, or Patterson.
