2025/26 David Moyes

Baines and his cowardly turning away from a speculative City shot defeated us that night. 3-1 up and coasting to Wembley before he did that.

Lukaku was pathetic that day. If he's in form we win it. United were rocking.
Yeah,I remember in the papers that week all I was reading was about Lukaku and his desire to play in big games, unfortunately he had that opportunity at Wembley and well and truly blew it🙄👍

@davek, you are in the wrong thread again, my friend.

I'd like to see a comparison for all the managers over the last 30 years based on the points per game over the managers tenure, per net ÂŁ spent... With an adjustment in there for inflation.

Moyes act 1 would undoubtedly be top of the list... Act 2 near the top.

Did some digging and found out that in the last 10 seasons, of any teams in the top 6 with 24 points or more after 15 games played, pretty much every single one of them went on to qualify for Europe. In fact, no one at all in the top 6 after matchweek 15 has finished outside the top 8. Food for thought
Have I misread this?

In 20/21 we had 29 points from 15 but finished 10th.
