2025/26 David Moyes

I hope we're talking to Oliver Glasner about what players he wants us to sign when the transfer window opens in the summer, and also talking to clubs about any fee we can get for Beto and Barry for starters.

I'm generally a fan of what he has done since coming back but very disappointed with his post game comments. Weak, inferiority complex and it must drain confidence from the players. He's essentially telling them they aren't good enough to be playing for Everton. Whilst that may be true for one or two you can't be making such a sweeping statement like that in public in my view. Everybody knows the team need to improve with more finance being spent on players but it takes time.

He doesn't give a stuff about the players, it's all about him, always has been.

Why wait?
A simple answer.

If in 6 months we haven't made any progress and things aren't looking right, we will have had Ample time to scout the right man to take us forward.

Either way you look at it, and whichever side of Pro/Anti Moyes you are on.

The end of the season is the best allround Approach.

i have said before I am not a Moyes fan. Problem is who could we attract to replace him and is good enough ?

Still look back, he could not get out of the door fast enough when Man U came knocking.
I've never understood the "who could we get who's better than Moyes/Dyche" etc talk. We pay incredible salaries to our Managers. Martinez was the 6th highest paid manager in the world when he was here.

If we show ambition and actually have someone with a clue to appoint a manager, we can do far better than the above.

He’s very much the former. But the key will be to build a durable competitive squad over time.
I see, he's the former but, according to you, his comments in the aftermath of that horror show about us essentially having no chance of defeating Newcastle are justified. You see no contradiction in those positions?

But could they do far better with what we currently have? I don't think we're massively under performing.

drew with Villa
beat m city
beat forrest
beat Fulham
trounced us.

It's pretty clear to me outside of two last kick of the match winners vs rs and arsenal, they've been set up this season to give the CL a run proper.
They were three points behind us prior to yesterday.
Like it or not at this point they are solidly midtable and performing poorly.
They weren’t even exceptional yesterday.
But they were far , far better than us .

sick to death of everytime we lose
“sack moyes”

are we wolves lads ye sinking into the abyss
From my point of view, its not sack Moyes. But the post match comments are definitely not what the fans want to hear, we have been down for far too long, we now have new owners a new stadium and new players, we beat Newcastle last season when they were chasing champions league at their place with lesser players, Newcastle have been beaten this season by Brentford and West Ham and have not won away since April, so as I say his comments our disgraceful in a word.

Whats he going to say next week when Dyche & Forest come up with their lot?
