Made it to HD yesterday.

Surprising to see us looking more tired than Newcastle. only other surprises were:

• WHAT happened in defence?
• Lack of runs in behind from LB/RB to ping in balls for ...
• Barry ( who was mostly poor, which isn't a surprise)

The league is absolutely bizarre this season. Everyone is beating each other literally every week. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we went and got a result against Bournemouth, it also wouldn’t surprise me if we then went on to lose heavily to Forest.

Transitional seasons are just how underperforming clubs try to justify underperformance. Sunderland aren't trying to use that excuse - they are just approaching every game like they think they can win it.

We should be much better than we actually are but we wasted money and prioritised signing players who don't even play. We shouldn't be losing 4-1 at home and we should have higher standards.

I still can’t believe his comments after the game though.
The players were poor and can play better. That’s should have the comments.

I mean Pickford was poor yesterday. 3 goals he should have done better, even though he stopped a couple of one on ones’s near the end.
Tim Iroegbunam was shocking and was involved in 2 of their goals 1st half.

You can’t legislate for so many poor performances.
