2025/26 David Moyes

TBH - It has always been down to our owners who is our Manager - our fans just accept a 10% ticket hike - the stadia is a fantastic football ground - our home form has been a let down to say the least - as you say in general most fans want him gone - but the owners ATM don't seem to bothered ?

They have the control .....
Well Joey, you had a wonderful day out at the stadium, a nice tour, a lovely family catch up, and even the chance to grace his seat, which you should have taken. You missed your chance mate, you could have stuck the Poll results in his seat.

I did the national poll which Danny put up - did you?

I suggested an ejector seat to the tour guide & my older brother suggested a stick of dynamite which raised a chuckle .... not many like DM ATM mate ..... see the GOT Danny's poll results higher up on this thread mate ...

That was over a broad spectrum of blues supporters ....

Like it or not as I reiterate the new owners are in charge - not the majority of our fans ...

Yes he’s a safe pair of hands that’s about all he brings no upside to that if you’re after more. You might say the conference league but it’s a 3rd tier competition and a joke competition, I have no interest in us playing in that.
There is a hairs breath between the uefa Europa league and the conference cup these days.
Look at some of our representatives.
It’s the difference between and forest and palace or a Brighton and Bournemouth.
any time in Europe is good experience, extra games abroad midweek means the squad gets used to its full and investment in weak areas in necessary.

Really makes me sad to see evertonians turning their noses up at ANY flavour of European competition, or saying that we couldn’t cope and it would ruin the squad/ league position.

Reeks of the kenwrong/moyes negative, plucky little Everton, avoid relegation is the best we should be hoping for mindset.

We have a transfer window to address the squad ahead of the European season, other clubs can do it, why not us?!

We haven’t won a trophy for decades (we won’t with Davey bores either!), we should be doing our upmost to enter any competition and try to win it.

We have to demand better from the club, manager and players.

Cry in the desert…nothing will happen..

….more praise from yet another player;

We need to get rid of this stability mindset, club and fans. Even the CEO (Mr Happily Dissatisfied) is pushing it and spreading it around and down. It is preventing the club from being more ambitious and moving forward and making us keep the likes of David Moyes who will never move us forward but will keep us away from relegation battles.

Reality is we haven't been in a relegation battle for 2 seasons. We don't need stability now, we need audacity, ambition and progress and that starts from the club itself. Those comments the CEO made with 2 games to go when there was still a very strong chance of qualifying for Europe were an absolute disgrace. Unfortunately for us, our new owners seem more interested in just not letting us go bad financially again and are more interested in making money from the new ground and their proper footballing asset i.e Roma.

We just cannot seem to catch a break.

I am already not looking forward to Moyes ball next season and that is just really sad.
It reminds me of Crystal Palace when they had Mr Steady Roy Hodgson and were doing okay but nothing more and then they made an ambitious management change in bringing in Glasner and the rest is history. If only we had the same ambition
