I get what you’re saying but with a thin squad it’s a total distraction, I genuinely don’t believe the conference league is going to help attract any players, it’s a joke competition for uefa to make more money, a load of like the nations league id get rid of international football as well but could say the same for that.

I get people that don't want Europe to be honest. I WANT it but I know for a fact it would do more harm than good for THIS team. It is a double edged sword unless you can pull off what Tottenham did which is not an easy ask. A squad like us could easily end up in the relegation zone with a manager like Moyes and Europe.

If he took any responsibility at all for the collapse at the end of the season he'd have cancelled his WC moonlighting and right now be working his socks off to hit the ground running in preseason.
