2025/26 David Moyes

We did not have to worry about relegation this season (so in his view it's job done), and he did not get Europe next season so he can pick Keane, McNeil, Barry, Gana and Tarkowski for every match next season without worrying about twice a week games.

So he doesn't give a S.
Yea it looks the case alright. Probably dulking hes not been given an undeserved new contract too

James Garner was on about how we’ve progressed this year and had some ‘big wins’. Yet here we sit well below the average. Yet again.

The mentality in that football club is an absolute cancer. The absolute first thing that needs to change above all else.
I never really took much notice of Kenwright's theatre career other than a love of deadline day drama, but the more I think about it the more genius he seems to have been for spinning a narrative. He's not only managed to lower expectations in real time, he managed to make 'plucky underdog Everton' the fabric of the club, convincing not only a whole generation but future players too.

Sort the Media team out, what do you expect the players to say.

Can't take these posts put out anymore, it's just aptly timed dribble.

I expect them to say they are enormously disappointed and frustrated and want to put things right next season, rather than slapping themselves on the back for a job well done (again), when we’ve been shocking (again)

That's what we all want, that's why I can't take it seriously.

You really think the media team would throw out honest and possibly brutal posts ?

Ask the players these questions away from the club or any media platform and you wont be listening to the same responses.

I’m not so sure. We have an appalling record at the top 6 and part of that is mentality.

As an example I think Sunderland have won 4 times at Chelsea since we won there, and they are generally garbage and have just spent 10 years outside the division.

We have been a bit unlucky/careless against some big sides too. Like City should have been 3 points, personally think we should have beaten Arsenal. Obviously shoulda woulda but to me it was games against dross we effed up the most on.

Just goes back to mentality for me - we concede loads of late goals v the top sides (obviously v Liverpool, City and Arsenal this year). Why? Because we are always on the back foot holding on for a draw rather than the front foot looking for a winner/kill the game.

I think we might be getting lost in our posts, I was just questioning the media team.

No chance is Garner sitting at home happy and ready for the world cup to start.

The younger lads have already spent a season sitting.

All of them have just missed out on Europe.

Moyes needs to stand up and own it and than players might follow, rather than be scared to say the wrong words.
