That's the problem and how we ended up in this mess. Like the end of the 23/24 season we should be ditching the manager at the end of the season. At this rate when we sack Moyes in November we'll be choosing from Gareth Southgate or Thomas Frank

We gave this guy £150m and he blows it like last summer it's going to take us years to recover. Giving him control over transfers was a disastrous decision by TFG.If he gets 150mil
This summer and he has control of transfers then the board should say it’s 60 points or you’re down the road, im
Sure last summer the target wasn’t to get 1 extra point. They need to set proper targets
I don’t think he has done okay, and even if I did, I’m not happy with just okay.…..basically, he’s done ok for 16 months but we don’t want him because of his previous record.
If we knew nothing about him and he’d come from abroad 18 months ago, why there would be some serious concerns, tactics, subs, in game management, style of play, maybe he would get some leeway. As it would be a case of give him another window and 4/5 of the players he wants and maybe he can show us something different next season.….i think he’s improved us from the team/squad he inherited 16 months ago.
If he was a completely new and young Manager without the baggage of the Kenwright era, I wonder if posters wouldn’t be as volatile. I wonder if he’d be given more leeway based simply on these last 16 months.
Man Utd was against stuck in the headlights out of his depth Amorim! The Villa game we played well.
The Old Trafford result is a pure definition of a fluke.
Couldn’t agree more, only have to look at West Ham to see what a mess he made of their squad. Will be us in a couple of years if he gets his say on transfers this summer. We gave this guy £150m and he blows it like last summer it's going to take us years to recover. Giving him control over transfers was a disastrous decision by TFG.
West Ham spend was actually even worse it was £500m plusDavid Moyes has won 3 things in a near 40yr career
2nd div promotion with Preston
Community shield man u
Conference league West ham
Look at the signings made at West ham where he spanked 400m, it was the start of the rot ( brilliant post on this forum about the numbers he wasted)... Why £100m of players not playing in our run in? It's the same thing happening...
Clubs rarely stagnate due to single mistakes, (albeit RS 450m splurge was pretty cringeworthy).
instead, they stall through the repetition and accumulation of smaller less spectacular, but consistent mistakes, like those I summarised.
Trading
Subs
Tactics etc
All of which impacted our entire season.
What in Moyes record of winning, the last season, and emergence of low debt 'smaller' clubs in euro places makes you think EFC are improving under Moyes?
And if we aren't, why he should stay?
There’s a big portion of our fanbase that is just happy to survive as well, though. There’s threads on here from during the season with fans being concerned that we may have (shudder) qualified for Europe whilst we “aren’t ready” (whatever that means). I do think the tide is turning, though. I think the Sunderland game was a massive watershed. More and more are starting to realise that we don’t have to have Davey and the board peeing on us and telling us it’s raining. But there are some, like soldiers in the jungle years after WW2 ended, who are so petrified of life without Moyes that they just can’t take the leap. The diffence is ambition we are all upset but they have ambition not be also rans but to be successful ,we on the other hand are happy to survive (the club that is ) not the fans . I don't think there is anyone in football that doesn't agree with Slot going if they have ambition ,we on the other hand are waiting to see !!!!
I agree I want him gone, according to the bobble there was a meeting with Moyes, watts, kinnear as soon as the season finished, then they would report back to TFG. Hopefully the meeting has gone disastrous for Moyes. We gave this guy £150m and he blows it like last summer it's going to take us years to recover. Giving him control over transfers was a disastrous decision by TFG.
Stuck with Moyes, stuck with Moyes. Everton playing football the negative way. Stuck with Moyes . . . .The improvement from what he inherited to now can be seen by the progression in the points we have amassed

FOUR MORE YEARS, FOUR MORE YEARS, FOUR MORE YEARS
Man Utd was against stuck in the headlights out of his depth Amorim!
Knows the cityIsn’t title winning Slot available now?
If Kinnear thinks mid table is success then he should be removed from his role too, my worry is that TFG are fine with mid table too so keep both in post.I agree I want him gone, according to the bobble there was a meeting with Moyes, watts, kinnear as soon as the season finished, then they would report back to TFG. Hopefully the meeting has gone disastrous for Moyes.
The worry is TFG only wanted to give him 18 months have they passed all control to kinnear and he thinks mid table is success and Moyes gets 3 more years. I think he will be getting sacked with Moyes if that’s the case
They did, top 10 and a cup run.If he gets 150mil
This summer and he has control of transfers then the board should say it’s 60 points or you’re down the road, im

yes, out of both cups early rounds, one more point, new young players cost millions but not ready, no improvement to me, but you know everton, wont make difficult decisions untill its to lateI don’t think he has done okay, and even if I did, I’m not happy with just okay.
