The only time I'd use Keane is how we've used him this season. In an emergency. So we've been led to believe. We've got a perfectly good centre back playing right back and 2 right backs on the bench. Keane is one of the worst centre backs I've ever seen at our club and I've been supporting us for over 60 years and I've seen a few bad ones in my time, believe me.

With Brainthwaite's absence what would you have done differently? I would have played Garner at full back and pushed O'Brien into the middle but I'm under no illusion that wasn't a great solution either.

We could easily be sat here now saying if only we'd kept an in form Garner in the middle of the park instead of playing him out of position at rb and we'd be in Europe. Let's not pretend there were easy solutions to the fact our full back situation is the worst in the league.
