2025/26 David Moyes

Well to a lot of fans its not as much of a shot in the dark as that, and people definitely don't feel like they're just attracted to a 'sexy foreign name' over a dour scotsman.

I watch a lot of footy, watch a lot of other teams games, watch a lot of analysis about footy. I'm not claiming to be a tactical genius who is infallible when it comes to this. Of course it's possible that Iraola or Glasner could come here and fail, just as much as I could step outside today and get hit by a car and die. That doesn't mean that I'm reasonably expecting that to happen and planning around it though.

There are two extremely appealing, PL experienced managers available as free agents this summer. If the managers available were just Frank, Silva, Koeman or whoever else then I think Moyes would still have a lot more support to finish his contract. The objective reality though is that Glasner has achieved more than Moyes in England in a fraction of the time, and Iraola has just qualified for the champions league, managing a club the size of Bournemouth while playing a brand of football that our fans desperately want to see.

Just as much as you can say well West Ham got rid of Moyes and look what happened to them - Bournemouth moved on Gary O'Neil to bring Iraola in the first place and took a lot of criticism in the media at the time, people felt that O'Neil was doing a decent job and you should 'be careful what you wish for'. Safe to say that it currently looks to be a good decision on their part to have a bit more ambition for themselves.

I'm not interested in change for changes sake, I just see two opportunities thus summer that are too good to pass up on.

Its EXACTLY what it is.

All the rest you typed, is just fluff mate, we all love footy and watch loads.

'm on the same train now....I want him gone.

Wish for - DM has done his job - too old set in his ways - we need a good change younger manager who gets a team to play football ....
