No, but its the same as West Ham fans wanting Moyes gone TWICE - And it failing and wanting him back.
Or the same as Spurs wanting Frank, then wanting him gone.
Or us wanting Martinez/Koeman/Silva.....then wanting them all gone, as soon as it got tough.
Our fans actually wanted Lampard...who was crap.
Some of us remember this, and are more cautious about stamping our feet throwing names round.
I think this is a bit of a simplistic way of looking at it for a few reasons.
Firstly, those West Ham fans want Moyes back because it's got worse since he left. It's easy to jump to the conclusion that it's worse
because he left, but correlation doesn't imply causation. It's basically the same thing as texting your ex when you're lonely and saying you wish you'd never left because everything was so much better when she was around, but actually leaving her was the right thing to do, it's what you've done since that's the problem.
With the others, is that really what happened? Did we
really want those managers? That's not how I remember it. Certainly the Lampard one is one of those weird myths that's taken on a life of it's own because some idiots claim they 'remember' it when they do nothing of the sort. People wanted Lampard when the choice was Lampard or Pereira, and we knew Pereira was being pushed by the parasitic Joorabchian and had just had a mental breakdown live on Sky Sports News. They did not want Lampard out of all the possible managers in the world.
