2025/26 David Moyes

Yeah alright mate, think you need to grab a drink and cool down a bit.

The lad has signed 2 contracts accepting he wont be a starter. for him fair play, it's a good payday.
For the club, I think I'd rather have a player say that he still believes he can make that spot his own.
Sorry I need to cool down a bit for saying I don't agree that it's more ambitious to want to play 40 games for Oxford United than to play for a dozen games for Everton? What a strange thing to say. Again.

Wait,

...

you wanted a full squad rebuild in one window?

Could you please point out a suitably "ambitious" other club that has ever done that ever please?
The team that made us look amateur on Sunday signed 15 players and a loan in the summer , most if not all with no "Prem experience" whatsoever.

Under the stewardship of a mid table Ligue 1 French manager plying his trade in the Prem for the first time.

Think thats counted as a full squad rebuild.

New to this thread or what?

All the exact same problems that are visible now were visible then, and were written here daily by many people, only for, essentially, Moyesettes to just post "HAHA LOL @ U EUROPE LAD" for the most part.

Now that the 1st party was correct, the second is missing, interestingly, or at least not as vocal.
how amusing.

draw and lose, the moyes outs are crowing and the moysettes are hiding. win and the moyesettes are crowing and the outs move onto to critiquing something else. good job everton is in all our lives, imagine where all that angst would end up.

These two would have trouble keeping Niasse out of the eleven.

Oumar 'I won a competition to play PL football' Niasse. Who left us and went to play non league.

Brett 'the hitman' Angell went back to Stockport county. in what was the old division 1 or 2.

'top tier' Seinfeld wasn't this funny!
Oh come on! Beto has 9 goals, Barry 8 goals in a side that creates nothing, like I said they're not superstar strikers theyre average and you want to be hyperbolic and claim they're like niasse. Beto has improved significantly over the course of the season

Just keep believing it's all on the players and Moyes has no influence on the game because he's been saddled with inferior players

Plus, it's one of the youngest starting eleven in the Premier League.

Building a team for the future.

While we have the Moyesauraus wanted a team of grafters who have years of experience in the Premier League.

Soucek , McGinn & Stones will make a big difference when we play them next.

And Ward Prowse in January to keep the momentum for the Euro push.

he was going to struggle to play much worse wasn't he.

barry plays like he's made of fine china. granted beto tries more and moves more and anticipates more. but sunday some of his passing was the stuff of mickey mouse. basic lay off stuff out of touch.

Just wait till your dino king brings in delap that will definitely solve all of our striker woes. You tell me how terrible this club is and how we're still feeling the pain of surviving relegation yet you expect us to have premium strikers?

The hiding is due to the failings overall - "the Moyes outs" aren't really Moyes outs, or at least weren't in the first half of the season - back then we were at least winning some games and there was hope he'd play some younger players and not overplay the same players, as he's always done.

Then Moyes himself came out with the "we're close to Europe" bit, so that was instantly the "EUROPE THO EY LOL @ U MOYES IN" point, which was given instantly for any criticism, even if it was valid and obvious (and are same as they have been for as long as Moyes has managed; and were the same for his WHam times too).

Really odd how all this angst and fume aren't present when we win a few games, not just 1 every month or so. I'd imagine it would be the same if we went into a cup and tried to, you know, do well there. But that's not how Moyes plays.

End of the day we all want to sit down and enjoy more than 5 from the 38 games in a season I think, and Moyes has us unprepared and unwatchable currently.

What's great about that is we could have prime Ronaldo right now and he'd be running the channels and tracking back at every opportunity, not be set up to score consistently.

Oh okay maybe 50 early crosses a game might do the trick, like how he tried to win games at United.
