It also highlights the risks in changing manager thougha Chelsea team that changed their manager because they were worried about missing out on the top 5 have lost 6 in a row and will still probably end the weekend ahead of our resurgent Everton team.
Guess you don't know, you might want to sit down.Vitor in the space of 3 months with Forest is doing things that Moyes has never done.

Their problems are clearly deeper than the manager to be fairIt also highlights the risks in changing manager though
ProbablyTheir problems are clearly deeper than the manager to be fair
They have a squad full of money hungry young footballers who dont really care if they play or not and thats the problem.Their problems are clearly deeper than the manager to be fair
so what…never change the manager? We should be shackled to Moyes until death? What’s the point here? Chelsea ironically also have a very good history of being ruthless with managers under Abramovic. Doesn’t mean you’re always going to be successful when you chop and change either. It’s whataboutism at best.Probably
But they still thought they would do better by changing the manager and they haven't
It doesn't always mean improvement. We should know this by now ourselves
All brought in for huge money and tied down to 9 year contractsThye have a squad full of money hungry young footballers who dont really care if they play or not and thats the problem.
They have also spent about 2 billion on players recently and have a squad of about 900 players.a Chelsea team that changed their manager because they were worried about missing out on the top 5 have lost 6 in a row and will still probably end the weekend ahead of our resurgent Everton team.
Meanwhile the managerial succession thread has been revived, tide is turning on old DaveyOnly 2 pages added to the thread so far today.
The Calm Before the Storm
That an very extreme take on what I said. Did I touch a nerve or something?so what…never change the manager? We should be shackled to Moyes until death? What’s the point here? Touched a nerve? It’s just a phrase, a bit of hyperbole, didn’t realise everything would be taken so literally. This is what I come to expect from the ‘Comfy Cardigan Brigade’ (love that by the way), criticism over how we’ve botched Europe is dismissed as being dramatic or extreme. Similarly, the refusal to see that two things can be true at once. He’s done the minimum of what was expected, keep us safe. But when given a golden opportunity to really make a push for progress, old habits creep in and we bottle it. That’s absolutely fair game to be fuming over, especially when a lot of the scepticism around Moyes coming back to begin with was his ceiling. Out of the cups within the first rounds again too. That an very extreme take on what I said. Did I touch a nerve or something?
'Shackled to Moyes until death?' or accept that he has done what was asked of him and what he promised day one...looking up the table and in the conversation for Europe.
Sacking somebody for a marked improvement is just bad practice imo and Abramovic pumped a small fortune into Chelsea to be able to take those risks, which we've been docked points for doing on a much smaller scale.
I see no justification for sacking Moyes now and my guess is neither do TFG

Don’t get me wrong, and I am not saying you’re wrong because football is all about opinions. But the last few seasons, at least two out of four we have stayed up on the last day. The fact we are even being talked about football in Europe (or at least were) is progress.Chelsea are struggling to stay in the top ten, Spurs are in a relegation battle, Forest have just come out of one, Newcastle and Palace were nearly in one, Liverpool have lost more games than any time for the last 12 years
We’re apparently having a resurgent season and we still might not even finish top half.
