It's the Moyes thread. Reported for being off topic. In a roundabout way this makes the case for Iraola and Glasner to resist the lure of a CL club and look for a mid-point club with a higher ceiling than B'mouth and Palace that they can repeat their success at.

Spurs are gonna bang five wins on the bounce, just like De Zerbi been yappin' about.
Next season, they’ll be right back in the mix for Europe—doing a proper job like Villa and Forest did.
As for Everton? We’re stuck in the mud, lad. Goin' nowhere fast 'cause the fans aren't ready for it. Same old story, innit?
It's the Moyes thread. Reported for being off topic.
I'm gonna leave this to the mods rather than argue with you, but there is a separate next manager thread somewhere. It's very much relevant to a David Moyes thread as those two men are candidates for our manager's job if the owners are serious about moving the club upwards...and there's no sign yet they're handing the dinosaur a new contract, so...
Not sure why you would give £200m to Moyes to spend when he’s just said it will be a success if £50m of the players make it.
Combined with the evidence from this season’s spend it would be straight out of the Moshiri textbook of football management.
Higher ceiling than Bournemouth rules us out then, sadly. In a roundabout way this makes the case for Iraola and Glasner to resist the lure of a CL club and look for a mid-point club with a higher ceiling than B'mouth and Palace that they can repeat their success at.

This Summer has quite a few good options and not as much competition as you might expect.
Newcastle will probably be looking, Chelsea of course and maybe Arsenal.
In terms of options we've got Glasner and Iraola of course, still got Xabi Alonso and Xabi Hernandez who are both still without a club and Cesc Fabregas whose stock is high but maybe not too high, yet.
So there's options but I fear I typical Everton fashion we'll watch the pitch sail by then start moaning in 6 months that things never go our way.
All great options. I'd like Alonso for the work he did in Germany but he won't for obvious reasons.
Glansner has put me off with wanting to
leave Palace.
Where has he said that?
