True, though it is only an eight point difference. Last season Moyes would be on 61 points across a full season, which is still a massive improvement. Even with a lot of changes (and most of the season without Branthwaite, arguably the best player) he’s managed to maintain that.

PMSL, people acting like it was all puppies and trophies after he left the first time or will be after the second time. One decent season out of Martinez, one competent man in Carlo...the rest has been pretty meh or .

Unfortunately the last few weeks have put a very different complexion on the season.

If he’s going to put as little effort into developing players as he has then Europe this season is a must in my opinion. Anything less is a disappointment.

We are done scoring points this season and on target for the 13th place finish I predicted at the start of the season.

That, and £110M+ spent on lads who Moyes won’t even let off the bench. Well worth sacking Dyche for that.

And STILL there are those giving it the happy flappy sea lion routine about how he he has stabilised the club and got us going in the right direction.

That's a bit of a stretch. Even if we win all our remaining games we'll only end on 59. And the changes you're referring to also include £110 million worth of new players for him to use.

And not that I have any time for Dyche but I'm sure the points deduction cost us more than 8 in terms of how it affected the players.
