If we finish 12 th will Moyes get an extension?
12th with the current squad, the impact of afcon, key injuries throughout...I take that considering that either West ham or spurs are going down which shows how competitive is the pl at the moment. Europe would be amazing...12th would be moyes doing a solid job, so either way he is staying but we cannot have a repeat of the last 2 windows.

I thought it was criminal we weren't able to properly put pressure on a third string keeper and the midfield wasn't doing enough to facilitate attacks , but he thinks Gana and garner (who is a player of a season contender but was mediocre for the match) are untouchable
It’s not like he’s a third string from Cowdenbeath. I’m pretty sure he knows how to deal with routine long shots.

Will the EVERTON manager get an contract extension for finishing 12th, potentially behind Bournemouth Brighton Brentford ffs.

It does feel like there is a lot riding on the next 5 games with the regards to the perception of the season. Qualify for Europe then 95% will see it as a huge success; finish in the position you say and those figures would change drastically.

I can't see us getting into Europe to be honest, next 2 games is a point, then palace Sunderland spurs, 4 maybe, but I'm a pessimist.

I'm with you. We had our chance with Brentford and Liverpool and took a single point. Hammers will need the points more than us on Saturday and I think Sunday will have taken a lot out of us. I can see a draw. We'll then lose by two clear goals to City. And that'll more or less prove fatal.

We blew it around December-January. Finishing out of Europe in a season when Europe was absolutely attainable should see ambitious owners draw the logical conclusion especially if the likes of Hurzeler, Andrews, and Iraola are continent-bound.

I agree with 1 maximum from the next two but think we will beat Palace and draw with Sunderland and Tottenham which won't be enough for Europe but should be for top 10.

The thought of us getting tanked on a wet Thursday mid-evening away game by some butchers, bakers and candlestick makers from Macedonia followed by Moyes blaming “those wee bairns everyone wanted” in another duller than dishwater post-match presser kind of makes me glad we’ll miss out on Europe.

At least we’ll get a couple of early rounds in the Carabao Cup before getting pumped on pens by Bromley, and at best two rounds of the FACup before being dumped out by already relegated Millwall.

If nothing changes everything stays the same.

Mediocrity.
Over.
Your.
Enjoyment.
Suckers.
