Iroegbunam needed bringing on. We were being outrun in midfield for the entire last third of the game. No one in the middle showing for the ball from the defence to play through the press, so we were going over the top every time and ball was never sticking.

Beto going off was not ideal but a more proactive manager finds a solution to take control of the game. Liverpool were doing absolutely nothing on the ball. Game was ours to win or lose and we lost it through indecisive game management by Moyes.

I thought Iroegbunam should've been on too tbf. Still think Beto going off was what changed it. Well not so much him going off but Barry coming on.

As bad as Dyche was, he had 1 Derby at Goodison, and won it. 1. And it was against a much better Liverpool team than this one with a much worse Everton team. But they didn’t turn up like a gang of cowards that night.

I wouldn’t bet on Moyes winning a derby if he had another five years here.

It's baked into having Moyes as manager. Everyone of our fans knows it too, but many will take that and live with it.

We need better than Moyes. We deserve better.

All these experts on here is impressive . Your tactical nous is something we are definitely lacking . Put your applications in to the owners. I'm sure we'll finish as champions next season at the very least . Up the toffees

A manager like Moyes tries to make every game about fine margins. When they go for you, great. When they don’t, you can’t help look at it and think if he’d just gone for it a bit more we could have won. He’ll always be the same.

He’s still the same guy who rocked up at Man Utd and turned the players against him by focussing on stopping other teams strengths rather than focusing on how to beat them, like Fergie did. No idea how to set up a team or coach them to play on the front foot. Never did, never will.

I’ll take today’s loss at the derby any day if getting the derby win under Dyche meant season after season of anxiety riding the relegation line. We know we’re not going down this season and have known it for some time. I never felt that way with Dyche. We certainly weren’t talking about the possibility of Europe under Dyche.
