Ah, I’m sorry!Try reading back mate… I’m talking about Eddie Howe here not Moyes
Moyes is doing a good job IMO
Haters gonna hate.
Moyes bringing back respect for the club again.
He's made a rod for his own back in a way - obvs there will be a come down if we don't make Europe.
Recruitment improvement should be the priority imo - we should be a more attractive prospect this close season.
If you gave Iraola Aznou, George and Armstrong they'd all be in the first team every week, O'Brien and Branthwaite would be our centre backs and we'd play 10 yards further up the pitch. Not sure we've currently got the rest of the squad to do that yet though.Put him the list of players Moyes cant coach.
Rohl
Dibling
Aznou
Alcaraz
Armstrong
Another manager hands us 5 starters or at least players to be used regularly straight away.
The trail has gone cold on his contract extension.
You have to balance with the fact that he turned players down in January 2025 like Truffert for slightly less than we paid for Aznou.Needlessly churlish.
KDH aside, he’s mainly using the players Dyche couldn’t get us away from the threat of relegation with.
Massive 6 games for Moyes, and we can still finish anywhere between 4th and 14th. I had us down for a point yesterday and we showed good fight, but I don't see us finishing ahead of Bournemouth. Brighton look very up and down so we have a chance to finish above them. I still see 12th as our most likely finishing position and that would vary much be a "jury's out" for Moyes given we have had no European football and went out of both cups at the first hurdle.

I can see us falling to 10th at worst. Of our 6 games left 5 are difficult to call (we will lose to city), and depends on which version of us turn up for each of them.
But the clubs around us have the same issue. You say Bournemouth will finish above us but they hadn't won a game since they beat us in Feb until yesterday.
Brentford have a tougher run in than us. As do Chelsea.
Brighton are the ones to watch as their form right now is great and they have an easier run in.
Fulham, Newcastle, and Sunderland have similar run ins to us and have to make up ground. All of them are inconsistent so it would take a real change of form over their final games to make up the ground.
As well as Moyes has done so far I think, looking to the FUTURE that we would be missing an opportunity in not talking to Iraola if he is available this summer.
We are one point off 6th. Great position given were we have been in years previous. I trust his judgement. You have to balance with the fact that he turned players down in January 2025 like Truffert for slightly less than we paid for Aznou.
Moyes has said that he has final say on signings so he authorised the signing. Truffert was of the age that Moyes likes. Instead we are still playing Mykolenko and have a kid doing nothing. Makes no sense
Similarly he stopped the Fellows signing for £8m and authorised Dibling for 5 times as much. He doesn’t play Dibling. He has to have responsibility for the team getting one starter despite spending over £100m
