Unfortunately I do
To what?
Unfortunately I do
Will be when you add wages etc into the equation
We'll carry on with the transfer policy that Moyes obviously isn't onboard with imo.To what?
Like you I commend Moyes for this season but I have concerns about how he would juggle multiple competitions if made it to Europe since he has a clear aversion to regularly rotating players and trusting most younger players even though there are exceptions like Armstrong
But are they young, and/or progressive? If literally any other manager at any other club took them from relegation threatened, to clear safety, then onto European aspirations in the space of about 18 months, with largely the same squad, a new contract would be universally praised.
7 games to go and competing for champions league potentially. It's bizarre that some aren't happy indeed. The improvement is clear as day and he deserves a new contract and more time to buildIf literally any other manager at any other club took them from relegation threatened, to clear safety, then onto European aspirations in the space of about 18 months, with largely the same squad, a new contract would be universally praised.
Feel like a lot of people have never gotten over some aspects of Moyes’ first spell. Bizarre for me, he’s not perfect at all but sincerely what more could be asked for? It’s a results business, he’s gotten tremendous results from what we have.

Why would you hand another contract to someone who did that bare minimum when you have them for another 12 months anyway?Or, he has met objectives so far (year one, re-establish the club in the top half of the league etc). When he doesn't, he will be shown the door
Just to boil your piss hopefully he gets minimum 3 yearsWhy would you hand another contract to someone who did that bare minimum when you have them for another 12 months anyway?
There's no rush. If he cant secure European football in this rubbish league in a season that's even more rubbish than the last few rubbish season's then that's not a manager I'd want to see get another 2/3 year contract.

Like you were happy to finish 17th last season before your idol was sacked. You are a walking contradiction.Only people who've never seen Everton win trophies would hope for that.
You people are just happy about not being relegated.

Get Southgate in![]()
You have no answer to me because I've got you banged to rights: a supporter who's dumbed down to the extent you cant think any further than survival.
I'm glad I've seen Everton win stuff - a LOT of stuff - it inoculated me against conmen like Moyes who tell you you're lucky to be in the PL....the type of stuff that you fall for.
Lol.
